Holiday Inn Osaka Namba is a good mid-range hotel with reasonable room rates, comfortable accommodation, and gourmet dining facilities.

This location has good public transportation links and is very convenient for the bright lights, restaurants, and nightlife of the Dotonbori entertainment district. The National Bunraku Theatre, Kuromon Ichiba Market, and the electronics stores of Nippombashi are also just a short walk away.

Guest Rooms

Holiday Inn Osaka Namba has 314 guest rooms. Guest rooms come with double, twin, triple, or quadruple beds. There is also a Universal Room which is barrier-free for wheelchair users.

All rooms have air conditioning and heating, and are equipped with a refrigerator, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, an air humidifier and purifier, an electric kettle, a hair dryer, a safety deposit box, a desk, a telephone, mineral water, nightwear and slippers. All guest rooms have free wired and wireless internet access.

Bathrooms have a shower and bathtub, and a toilet with an electric bidet. Bathrooms are also supplied with a full set of towels, shampoo, soap, conditioner, toothbrush kits, shaving razors, deodorant spray, hair brushes, and cotton buds.

Room service is also available between 18.00 and 28.00 am.

Breakfast & Dining

This hotel has an on-site gourmet restaurant and wine bar called Barkt, which is located on the 1st floor. A breakfast buffet is available here between 7.00 and 10.00 each morning for a fee of 1,944 yen (including tax). Up to four children aged 12 or younger can eat for free with their parents. The buffet has a mixture of Western and Japanese style breakfast items that includes eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, bread, and pastries.

Dinner is available between 18.00 and 28.00. Dinner guests can order full course meals and a la carte items from the menu which has a mixture of French, Italian, and Japanese cuisines. On the weekend and on holidays Barkt is open from 15.00 as a café.

There is also a 7-11 convenience store on the 1st floor of the hotel building, which is open 24 hours a day. Here guests can buy cheap snacks, drinks and other everyday groceries.

Other Services and Facilities

This hotel has a 24 hour reception desk with friendly, multilingual staff. Check-in begins at 15.00 and check-out time is by 11.00. Luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out. Shipping services with Yamato Transport are also available.

There is an automatic currency exchange machine in the first floor lobby. This machine can change currencies from several countries including China, Korea, the US, Australia, Britain, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, and Taiwan. There is also an ATM cash machine that takes most international bank cards, which is inside the first floor convenience store.

A same day laundry service and a dry cleaning service can be arranged at reception.

In-room massages can be arranged for a fee.

This hotel has no curfew, but for security reasons the entrance is locked at midnight. Guests can use their digital card keys to access the hotel after this time.

Wheelchairs can be borrowed from reception.

This hotel has a parking lot which costs 2,500 yen per night (between 15.00 and 11.00 the next day). Parking spaces are limited and are allocated on a first-come first-served basis.

Holiday Inn Osaka Namba is located a short walk north of the Dotonbori entertainment district. It is a 7 minute walk from Namba Subway Station on the Midosuji, Yostubashi, and Sennichimae lines, an 8 minute walk from Nippombashi Station on the Sennichimae and Sakaisuji lines, and an 8 minute walk from Osaka-Namba Station on the Hanshin and Kintetsu lines.
