This hotel has twin rooms, semi-double rooms, double rooms, and suites. All the rooms are sound-proofed, have a bright, modern decor, and are fitted out with a TV, refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities, and free wi-fi. Bathrooms have a full set of complimentary toiletries and a hair dryer. All the private guest rooms and the public areas of this hotel are strictly non-smoking.

Dining

Hotel Elsereine Osaka has three dining options on its premises: a café, a Japanese restaurant, and a sweet shop.

Café Terrace Ginmokusei

Café Terrace Ginmokusei

Café Terrace Ginmokusei occupies the first floor of the hotel, and features a startling indoor flowerbed with a white grand piano. Indoor and outdoor dining are both available. Light Western style meals, snacks, desserts and drinks are available throughout the day. Some vegetarian options are also on the menu. The drinks menu includes the usual soft drink and alcoholic options, plus an enormous range of hot and iced teas. On the tea menu are fruit and herbal infusions and traditional Japanese matcha tea. A breakfast buffet is served daily which includes, eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh baked bread and plenty of healthy vegetables. Breakfast is 1,600 yen for adults, 1,200 yen for elementary school aged children, and 800 yen for children under 6 years of age.

Café: 10.30 – 20.00 (Last orders: 19.00)

Katsura is a chic Japanese restaurant on the 6th floor with windows looking out on the area around the Dojima River. Private tatami matted rooms looking out on a traditional Japanese style rooftop garden are also available. The lunch time menu features healthy set meals of seasonal dishes with rice and soup. The dinner menu is high grade kaiseki style course dining with exquisite dishes as beautiful to look at as they are good to eat. This restaurant is completely non-smoking.

Lunch: 11.00 – 15.00 (Last orders: 14.00)
Dinner: 17.30 – 22.30 (Last orders: 21.00)

Quatre Feuilles is a French style patisserie on the first floors of the hotel serving freshly baked cakes, pastries, and chocolate confections. Sweets can be ordered to take out or eaten at a table in the shop.

Other Facilities

The Front Desk on the 2nd floor is open 24 hours a day, so that staff can help you with your enquiries.

There is also a Business Corner on the 2nd floor with computers, printers and a photocopier.

On the 5th floor this hotel has the Elsereine Hall, a rather unusual feature which seats an audience of 416 and can be used for musical or theatrical performances, film shows, or conventions.

Access

Hotel Elsereine Osaka is a ten minute walk south of Osaka Station on the east side of Yotsuhashi-suji Street.
