Hotel Ichiei is a contemporary ryokan style hotel located in central Namba. This hotel prides itself on its traditional hospitality, service and style. Although listed as a ryokan this is a very modern establishment with chic interiors and not an old-fashioned Japanese inn.

The hotel is in walking distance of many popular shopping, dining, and entertainment areas like Dotombori, Namba Parks, Kuromon Ichiba Market. It is also conveniently located for local railway and subway transport which makes it readily accessible from Kansai International Airport and means it also offers easy access to tourist attractions throughout Osaka.
Guest Rooms
Hotel Ichiei has a wide variety of Japanese and Western style rooms with spacious and stylish interiors. Among the Japanese style rooms there are traditional rooms with futons which can sleep between 3 – 6 guests, and modern Japanese rooms with beds that can sleep 2 – 3 guests.

Many rooms also have unique interior design features such as a rock garden, an attached tea ceremony room, or a ceiling decorated with beautiful folding fans. Western style rooms come with twin beds for 2 guests and come in two kinds: with or without a sofa. All rooms have a TV, DVD player, refrigerator, electric kettle, tea making facilities, nightwear and slippers. Bathrooms are supplied with a full set of amenities: shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, body soap, dental sets, shaving razors, towels, and a hair brush.

Breakfast & Dining
Hotel Ichiei has a traditional Japanese restaurant called Hotaru or “Firefly” serving kaiseki style gourmet cuisine. They serve a variety of seasonal set meals at a starting price of 2,500 yen for lunch. Breakfast is also a typical Japanese style set meal of rice, soup, rice, pickles and side dishes. Accommodation plans come with or without breakfast and can also include dinner.

On the top floor of the hotel is a bar and Italian style restaurant called “Sky Dining & Bar Blue Bird Minami”. Designed with couples in mind, all tables come with paired seating and have a panoramic night view. This restaurant has an English menu.
