Hotel Kinki

Hotel Kinki is a clean, modern, and efficiently run business hotel with very reasonable room rates. Located in the heart of Umeda’s entertainment district it is convenient for both Hankyu Osaka-Umeda Station and Osaka Station. Multilingual staff in the hotel can direct you to the plentiful shopping, dining, and entertainment facilities in the immediate vicinity.

Guest Rooms

Hotel Kinki has both Japanese style with tatami floors and futons, and Western style rooms with beds. All rooms are fully air-conditioned and have free Wi-Fi, LAN connection high speed internet access, an electric kettle and cups, and 19 inch flat screen TVs with twelve local Japanese channels.

All rooms also have nightwear, slippers, comfy bedding, down duvets and clean cotton sheets. Please note that though most of the rooms in this hotel have mini-refrigerators, the Japanese style single and twin rooms do not. Bathrooms come supplied with a shower and toilet, towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner and a hair dryer. Hotel Kinki has 31 rooms on the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th floors which are designated non-smoking areas.

Local Dining

Though Hotel Kinki does not have its own catering or dining facilities, it is located in an area of Umeda that has many restaurants and cheap eateries. Within a short walking distance from the hotel there are a range of izakaya style taverns and other restaurants which serve sushi, yakitori style grilled chicken, ramen noodles, and local specialties such as takoyaki octopus dumplings, and okonomiyaki pancakes.

There is also a convenience store just 2 minutes’ walk from the hotel where you can buy sandwiches, rice balls, snacks, and drinks. The staff at the reception desk will be happy to advise you where to find the nearest dining facilities.

Facilities & Services

This hotel has no curfew and has a 24 hour reception desk with multilingual staff who can help with enquiries and supply you with maps and guides to the area. Luggage can be stored here both before checking in and after checking out. There is also a copy machine at reception. The hotel lobby, lounge, and laundry room are also open 24 hours a day and there is free wi-fi in all public areas.

In the lobby you can find computers which are free to use for hotel guests, a small library of English language guide books, and soft drink vending machines. There are coin operated laundry facilities on the 3rd floor, together with a trouser press, iron and ironing board, and a microwave oven. Laundry detergent can be purchased at reception.

Access

Hotel Kinki is located to the east of Osaka Station in the covered arcade of Hankyu Higashi Nakadori Shotengai shopping street. It is a 6 minute walk from Hankyu Osaka-Umeda Station and 9 minutes from Osaka Station’s southern gate.
