Intercontinental Hotel Osaka

The Intercontinental Osaka is a modern 5 star hotel with luxuriously spacious rooms, courteous and professional staff, excellent dining facilities, a spa, a gym, and its own indoor swimming pool. Located within the Grand Front Osaka commercial complex, the hotel is surrounded by shopping, dining, and entertainment opportunities and just a short walk away from both Osaka Station and Hankyu Osaka-Umeda Station.

Guest Rooms

The Intercontinental’s guest rooms are located between the 21st and 28th floors and so all rooms enjoy fantastic views over the city. The standard guest rooms are doubles, twins, and suites, and these are located between the 21st and 26th floors.

These spacious and stylishly decorated rooms are equipped with free Wi-Fi, an IPOD docking station with BOSE Bluetooth Speakers, a 42-inch HD TV, a mini-bar, a walk-in closet, a safety deposit box, and tea and coffee making facilities. Bathrooms are fitted with a large bathtub and shower, and supplied with bathrobes, slippers and complimentary Agraria brand toiletries which include soap, shampoo, conditioner, and bath salts.

On the 27th and 28th floors are the Executive and Deluxe Suites which are designed for long stay residents. These premium suites come with 1, 2, or 3 bedrooms and have separate living rooms with sofas, dining tables, and fully equipped kitchen areas.

Club Intercontinental members also have access to the Executive Lounge on the 28th floor where one can enjoy a complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, evening cocktails or a nightcap.

Air purifiers, humidifiers, and extra pillows can be borrowed on request.

Dining

The Intercontinental has two restaurants, a lounge, and a bar on the 20th floor. There is also a bakery on the 1st floor. Here are the details:

The 3-60 lounge is an elegant space in which to enjoy the view whilst enjoying an afternoon tea set or an original blend coffee. Light meals and desserts with a touch of luxury are also available, such as the smoked salmon and cream cheese crepe with herring caviar, or a chestnut scone with clotted cream and strawberry preserve.

Pierre is a fine dining French style restaurant serving such mouth-watering items as foie gras terrine, red snapper confit, lobster bisque, and slow roasted olive beef in a red wine and red pepper sauce.

Noka Roast and Grill is a more casual restaurant with an open kitchen and a menu featuring the best cuts of beef steak, as well as chicken, pork and fish dishes.

Adee is the hotel bar, a colorful location, serving original cocktails and light meals such as wagyu beef burgers, club sandwiches, and deep fried chicken wings in a spicy Thai sauce.

Stressed, despite its name, is a pleasant bakery and patisserie on the 1st floor serving a range of sandwiches, quiches, savory tarts as well as super sweet pastries and tasty cakes.

Facilities

This hotel has a 24 hour reception desk and concierge service with multi-lingual staff. There are also laundry and dry cleaning services and a business center with computers, high speed internet access and photocopying machines.

On the 4th floor there is a spa and fitness area which has a fully equipped gym, a swimming pool, and an onsen style hot spring bath with both a steam sauna and dry sauna. Massage treatments can also be arranged here.

The Intercontinental Hotel occupies the third tower of the Grand Front Osaka complex which is directly north of Osaka Station. It is an 8 minute walk from Osaka Station’s north exit and a 9 minute walk from Hankyu Osaka-Umeda Station.
