Minoh Onsen Spa Garden

Minoh Onsen Spa Garden is a separate leisure facility located adjacent to the hotel and is free to use for hotel guests. The facility has a range of outdoor and indoor baths separated by gender as well as saunas. The naturally carbonated mineral water in the baths is said to be good for a variety of ailments and is nicknamed “bijin-no-yu” or “beautiful ladies’ spa” because it is also good for the skin.

In addition to the baths there is a ganban-yoku hot stone spa in which bathers can lie on hot rocks. This is said to cleanse the body and be good for one’s skin and circulation. In addition to the bathing facilities the Minoh Onsen Spa Garden also has a food court, an outdoor swimming pool (open in July and August), a stage for comedy and musical performances, a games area, and a free karaoke room.

Minoh Onsen Spa Garden is open from 10.00 until 23.45 with last entry at 22.45. Day trippers who do not wish to stay at the hotel can use the facilities for the prices listed below.

Other Services & Facilities

In addition to the adjacent spa facilities, the hotel also has its own rooftop indoor and outdoor baths that only hotel guests can access. From here guests can view both sunrise and sunset. Unfortunately guests with tattoos are not allowed to use the public bathing facilities in either the hotel or the neighboring spa. This is a typical Japanese prohibition, but it is very strictly enforced at these facilities. These baths are open from 16.00 to 24.00 in the evening with last entry at 23.30 and from 5.00 to 10.00 in the morning with last entry at 9.30.
