The hotel is convenient for Osaka’s subway system and for the Keihan Nakanoshima Line which you can use to travel into central Kyoto. There is also a free shuttle bus service to and from Osaka Station which gives you easy access to the Umeda district. The Osaka Science Museum and the National Museum of Art are both just a 4 minute walk from the hotel. This hotel is a good choice for both business and sightseeing travelers.

Guest Rooms

This hotel has a range of single, double, and twin rooms with 140cm wide semi-double beds in all single rooms. Rooms on the 13th and 14th floors have superior amenities and enjoy fine city views.

The 15th floor of the hotel is a dedicated Ladies’ floor with both single and twin rooms. All rooms on the Ladies Floor have a Panosonic Nanocare ionic hairdryer and a facial steamer to moisturize your skin.

Guests on the upper floors 13 – 15 are entitled to use the private lounge on the 16th floor. A Universal Room is also available which has a room and bathroom facilities suitable for wheelchair users. This Universal Room is for single travelers only.

All rooms have a 42-inch-plus TV with satellite channels and fee based Video-On-Demand. They are also supplied with a refrigerator, a safety box, a trouser press, a kettle, green teabags, mineral water, a hair dryer, slippers, nightwear, and a combined air purifier and humidifier.

Bathrooms are fitted with a toilet, a shower and bathtub and stocked with the following complimentary amenities: toothbrush sets, shaving razors, hair brushes, cotton buds, shampoo and conditioner, body soap, face and hand soap, and a full set of towels. Wired LAN and wireless internet access is available in all guest rooms.

Breakfast & Dining

The hotel restaurant, “Hakatarou”, is located on the 2nd floor and specializes in Kyushu cuisine. The menu features lots of fresh seasonal vegetables and seafood transported directly from the island of Kyushu.

A buffet breakfast with Japanese and Western dishes is served here daily from 6.30 till 10:00 with last entry at 9.30. Breakfast costs 2,160 yen but is free for children under the age of 6. For lunch why not try the Kyushu style fried chicken for just 880 yen, and for dinner you can try motsunabe a famous tripe stew from the city of Hakata. Motsunabe costs 1,480 yen.

Staff at the front desk are proficient in English and can help you to make restaurant or taxi bookings. Luggage can be stored at the front desk prior to check in and after checking out.

There are drinks vending machines and ice making machines on each floor.

An iron, ironing board, trouser press, sewing kit, blanket, thermometer, fork, knife, spoon, dishes, wine opener, and wine cooler can all be borrowed from the front desk.

Rental computers are available for 1,000 yen per night from the front desk.

On the 16th floor there is a public spa with spacious bathing facilities separated by gender. Both the men’s and ladies’ baths face onto gardens. The ladies’ spa also features a jacuzzi.

There is also a 24 hour coin laundry on the 16th floor with combined washer dryers. A standard load costs 600 yen for a complete wash and dry cycle.

The hotel also has a laundry service. Clothes brought to the front desk with a completed laundry form by 10.00 will be delivered to your room by 18.00.

Parking is available for 36 vehicles at a rate of 1,500 yen per night.

Access

Mitsui Garden Hotel Osaka Premier is a 4 minute walk from Watanabebashi Station on the Keihan Nakanoshima Line and an 8 minute walk from Higobashi Station on the Yotsubashi Subway Line. A free shuttle bus runs from the west side of JR Osaka Station to Mitsui Garden Hotel Osaka Premier at 30 minute intervals between 7.00 – 12.00 and 14.00 – 22.00 every day.
