Namba Oriental Hotel

Namba Oriental Hotel is a good mid-range hotel with reasonably priced rooms located in the heart of Namba’s shopping, dining, and entertainment district. The hotel’s is very close to all the Namba railway and subway stations which gives you easy access to Kansai International Airport and to sightseeing locations throughout Osaka.

Guest Rooms

Namba Oriental Hotel has 258 guest rooms with a choice of king-sized beds, queen-sized beds, twin beds, and triple beds. All beds are fitted with Simmons mattresses and feather duvets. Nightwear and slippers are also supplied.
All guest rooms have free Wi-Fi and a LAN cable for free internet access. Rooms are also equipped with a combined air conditioner and heater, a combined air purifier and humidifier, a plasma duster, a TV with free video on demand, and a refrigerator. Green tea, coffee, and mineral water are provided and there is an electric kettle and espresso machine.

Bathrooms are fitted with a shower, bathtub, and washlet style bidet. A full set of towels is supplied along with the following amenities: hand soap, body soap, shampoo, conditioner, a dental kit, shaving razors, combs, and cotton buds.

Breakfast & Dining

Breakfast is served in the Japanese restaurant Nagi on the 2nd floor from 7.00 – 10.00 and costs 1,944 yen including tax. The breakfast is a mixed buffet with Western style sausage, bacon, and eggs on offer as well as local specialties such as steamed sushi, and deep fried skewered meat and vegetables called kushikatsu. Breakfast can be included in your accommodation plan.

In addition to the restaurant Nagi, there are also casual eateries on the 1st floor serving Italian style pasta and pizza, Korean food, and yakiniku style barbecued beef. On the 3rd floor there is also a British style pub called the “Hub” where you can enjoy a plate of fish and chips.

Facilities & Services

The reception desk and lobby is on the 3rd floor of the building and the reception staff can speak English. In the lobby there is a touch-screen information panel with a print-out function for looking up information on local attractions, restaurants, and entertainment. There is also a foreign currency exchange machine here.

There is a quiet and secluded patio garden with a fountain on the 4th floor.

This hotel has a laundry and dry cleaning service and also a self-service coin laundry on the 4th and 5th floors. Washing machines cost 300 yen to use and dryers cost 100 yen for 30 minutes.

In-room massages are also available on request.

Access

Namba Oriental Hotel is located inside the Sennichimae shopping arcade and just south of the Bic Camera electronics store. It is a 4 minute walk from Namba Subway Station, 6 minutes from Nankai Namba Station, 7 minutes from Osaka Namba Station (for the Hanshin and Kintetsu lines), and 12 minutes from JR Namba Station.
