Hotel Seiryu is a hot spring resort hotel at the Ishikiri Onsen in a rural area of Higashiosaka. The hotel can be reached in 30 minutes from central Osaka, and is convenient for local tourist attractions such as Ishikiri-Tsurugiya Shrine and Mount Ikoma. Other than its hot spring baths the hotel is also known for offering sparkling night views over the Osaka plain. The hotel building was designed by the late Metabolist architect Kisho Kurokawa in 1980.
Guest Rooms
Hotel Seiryu has 55 guest rooms and suites in both Japanese and Western styles. Japanese style rooms have tatami matting and futons and Western style rooms have twin beds or double beds. All rooms have air conditioning and heating and are supplied with a TV, refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities, and yukata style nightwear. Bathrooms are supplied with a full set of towels, two-in-one shampoo and conditioner, soap, shaving gear and a toothbrush set. Hair dryers, humidifiers, and desk lamps can be borrowed from reception.
Dining
Hotel Seiryu has three 1st floor restaurants and a café. A daily buffet breakfast is served which includes both Japanese and Western style foods. It is possible to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner included in your accommodation plan.
Wa Café Noba serves a range of light meals, sweets, and pastries. A 500 yen morning breakfast set is available from 8.30 till 11.00 which includes toast, salad, scrambled egg, hashed browns, and ham.

The Hot Spring Spa
The hotel has large public bathing facilities separated by gender which include both indoor and outdoor baths and a sauna. The natural mineral waters are said to be good for rheumatism, gout, high blood pressure, and chronic liver problems. Tourists who are passing through the area can use the hot spring spa without staying at the hotel for a fee of 1000 yen for adults, 500 yen for children under 11 years of age, and free for kids under the age of 2.

Access
Hotel Seiryu is located in Higashiosaka City, Osaka Prefecture, not far from the border with Nara Prefecture. It is an 8 minute walk or a 2 minute drive from Ishikiri Station on the Kintetsu Nara Line and a 10 minute drive from Shin-Ishikiri Station on the Kintetsu Keihanna Line. To get there from central Osaka take a Sub Semi-Express on the Kintetsu Nara Line from Osaka Namba Station to Ishikiri Station. The journey takes 27 minutes and costs 350 yen. Alternatively take a through train service on the Chuo Subway Line from Hommachi Station to Shin-Ishikiri Station. The journey takes 21 minutes and costs 550 yen. There is a limited shuttle bus service between Hotel Seiryu and Shin-Ishikiri Station but this must be booked in advance. Here is a map of the location.
