The St. Regis Hotel Osaka

The St. Regis Osaka is a 5-star luxury hotel located on Midosuji, Osaka’s most famous boulevard. This hotel is well known for its top class facilities, its stylish and contemporary interior décor, and its unique butler service. This hotel has rooms with twin double beds, or single king-sized beds, as well as a great variety of spacious and luxurious suites. All rooms have air conditioning, free Wi-Fi internet access, a flat screen TV with cable TV channels, a refrigerator and mini bar, a Nespresso coffee maker, an in-room safe, bathrobes and slippers. Bathrooms feature a rainforest shower, a separate bathtub with a built-in flat screen TV, and a full set of complimentary toiletries.

Dining

This hotel has two restaurants, a bar, and a garden terrace café. The dress code for both restaurants is “smart casual”.

La Veduta is a high grade Italian restaurant with an open kitchen specializing in North Italian cuisine. A buffet breakfast with a range of Japanese and Western style items is served here daily. A la carte and course menus are available for lunch and dinner.

Dinner: 17.30 – 22.00

Rue d’Or is a French restaurant serving lunch, afternoon tea and dinner every day. Recommended dishes include onion soup with cheese soufflé and sweet Awaji onions, and grilled Japanese fillet of beef with Béarnaise sauce and French fries

The St. Regis Bar is a sophisticated non-smoking venue serving specialty cocktails and light snacks. Be sure to try the bar’s signature cocktail: a Japanese twist on the classic Bloody Mary, called a “Shogun Mary”.

Sunday – Thursday Bar Time: 17.30 – 24.00
Friday – Saturday Bar Time: 17.30 – 1.00

The St. Regis Terrace is a relaxing space overlooking the hotel’s serene Zen garden. Guests can choose from the bar menu here which includes afternoon tea, sandwiches, soufflés, pastries, and fresh fruits.

Butler Service

One of the unique features of the St. Regis is their personal butler service. Basically the hotel butlers will be happy to help you with all your enquiries and requests. When you arrive at the hotel a St. Regis Butler will have coffee or tea brought to your room. A butler can also be requested to come to your room after your morning wake-up call, to bring coffee or tea, pull your curtains, and deliver a newspaper. You can also request butlers to help you with packing, unpacking, and to press your clothes.

Services & Facilities

This hotel has a 24 hour concierge service to help you with sightseeing inquiries, dinner reservations, and booking tickets for events.

On the 14th floor there is a 24 hour Exercise Room with treadmills, bikes, weight training equipment, and free weights. Free bottled water is available, and the room is fitted with TV screens, a sound system and headphones. Sportswear can also be rented.

This hotel has a Business Center with a range of fee-based services including photocopying, printing, and high speed internet access. Hotel guests who wish to use the Business Center computers are entitled to 15 minutes free access. After that the charges are 1,000 yen for the first hour, and 500 yen for every additional 30 minutes. Mobile phones and computers are also available for rent. Hotel guests also have free high speed internet access in all public areas of the hotel including the lobby.

The St. Regis Osaka is a 5 minute walk from Hommachi Station for the Chuo, Midosuji, and Yotsubashi subway lines, and 8 minutes from Sakaisuji Hommachi Station on the Chuo and Sakaisuji subway lines.
